TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding is an alternative to MIG which is ideal for welding aluminium, magnesium, copper alloys, thin stainless steel and other light materials.
Engineers particularly like this process for its strong welds and enhanced control, although it takes longer to deliver high quality results. Highly skilled and experienced operators are needed to do the job, such as those we employ at MRK Services. Its strength makes TIG welding perfect for aerospace, and nuclear waste storage through to thin tubing products such as bicycles.
TIG welding is a professional and affordable service offered by MRK Services. It works by creating an arc between the TIG welding electrode and surface. An inert welding gas (typically Argon) is used over the weld pool to protect from oxidisation.
All equipment used for welding is kept clean and well maintained for the best quality welds. Issues such as porosity, dust and rust are therefore dealt with.
We use our specialist welding techniques on commercial projects such as:
- Hand railings
- Juliet Balconies
- Security Grilles
- Garden Structures
All made to your exact design specifications and requirements. We will carry out fittings at your site. Call 01386 700912 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for all enquiries.
